Tracee Ellis Ross is an award-winning actress, producer, founder, and CEO. Ross is best known for her eight-season run in ABC’s “black-ish,” which received nods from the Emmys, Golden Globes, NAACP Image Awards, and more. She also held roles in the eight-season show “Girlfriends,” and the latest season of “Black Mirror.” Later this year, Ross will be seen in her Roku original series “Solo Traveling with Tracee Ellis Ross.” The series will chronicle Ross as she meticulously, laboriously, and sometimes ridiculously prepares for and travels solo to spectacular locations. Ross also serves as an Executive Producer on the series. In addition to being an actress, Ross is the owner, founder, and co-CEO of PATTERN Beauty, a BIPOC global and multimillion-dollar brand she created for the curly, coily, and tight-textured community in 2019. Throughout her career, Ross has received numerous accolades. In the acting space, she has received a Golden Globe Award and nine NAACP Image Awards. Ross advocates for joy, self-acceptance, inclusivity, and equity. For this, she’s received several awards: The 2022 Racial Justice Trailblazer Award by The Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, a 2023 Webby Special Achievement Award, and the 2024 Achievement Award for Excellence in the Arts by the National Museum of Women in the Arts.
