Sheila Johnson is Founder & CEO of Salamander Collection. Rated the top luxury hotel brand by USA TODAY for multiple years, the company operates luxury properties in unique destinations in the U.S. and the Caribbean, including Washington, D.C., Charleston, South Carolina, Aspen, Colorado, and Tampa, Florida. In Virginia, Salamander Middleburg is one of only five properties in America to attain a triple Forbes Five-Star rating. As a Partner of Monumental Sports & Entertainment, Ms. Johnson is the only African American woman to have ownership in three professional sports teams: the Washington Wizards, Washington Capitals, and the Washington Mystics.
