Rhett Ramsay Outten is a third-generation owner of her family’s jewelry business, Croghan’s Jewel Box, in Charleston, South Carolina. While involved in all facets of the business, her strengths are in marketing and her focus is the development and growth of a robust media presence for the company. Outten is passionate about her hometown and has played a role in many local initiatives, including serving as a board member of the Gibbes Museum of Art and the Board of Governors of Explore Charleston. Outten is also a founding member and current secretary of the King Street Business Improvement District, which is dedicated to creating a more vibrant and connected King Street. Her proudest accomplishment is being the mother of two daughters, Anna and Caroline.
