Jeff Chu is an editor at large at Travel + Leisure, where he writes about culture, food, sustainability, and more. The author of Good Soil: The Education of an Accidental Farmhand (2025), he will be a visiting professor at Princeton University this fall, teaching a course called “Reading and Writing About Religion.” He and his husband live in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
