He is also a guest co-host of the Airlines Confidential podcast, the most listened-to airline industry podcast. Prior to becoming an industry analyst more than 25 years ago, Harteveldt worked in marketing, advertising, loyalty, planning, and PR roles at leading travel brands such as Continental Airlines, Fairmont Hotels, and GetThere. Harteveldt’s perspectives about airlines and aviation are regularly sought by top-tier media such as Travel + Leisure, CBS News, CNBC, Bloomberg, Reuters, The New York Times, and The Times of London. A native New Yorker and proud graduate of the Tulane University Freeman School of Business in New Orleans, Harteveldt now lives in Dallas, Texas.
