Stuart Pringle OBE, CEO of Silverstone since 2016, has been pivotal in transforming The Circuit into a leading motorsport and events venue. Joining Silverstone in 2006 as BRDC Club Secretary, he progressed through roles including Sporting Director. Under his leadership, Silverstone has launched major projects like the Museum, Hilton Garden Inn, Escapade accommodation, and sustainability initiatives, while continuing to host the Formula 1 British Grand Prix. He has also held key industry positions and previously served in the British Army’s Royal Tank Regiment. In January 2026, Pringle was made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for his services to motorsport and the economy. The award recognises his nearly 20 years of leadership and strategic vision, which helped transform Silverstone into a major year-round leisure and entertainment destination, securing the future of the British Grand Prix and other major events.
