A native Texan, Keith began his career in luxury travel while still in college in Dallas as an intern for Rosewood Hotels, where he continued his career as a marketing manager after graduating from Southern Methodist University. Keith later spent 16 years as a senior executive for the international luxury travel network Virtuoso, where he created the Virtuoso brand and elevated the awareness of travel advisors. In 2013, he founded Departure Lounge, an innovative Virtuoso-member global travel agency based in Austin, Texas. Departure Lounge has more than 280 of the world’s top travel advisors based in North America, Europe and Asia. Waldon lives in Texas Hill Country and Tuscany. He serves on several luxury travel advisory boards.
