Justin Gurland is the founder and CEO of The Maze—New York City’s first alcohol-free members club, reimagining how people connect and build community without alcohol at the center. Sober for 18 years and a Licensed Master Social Worker, Gurland has spent more than 15 years working in the substance use and recovery field, helping individuals and families navigate addiction. Drawing on both his clinical and personal experience, he created The Maze as a space that combines dining, curated programming, and meaningful community for those embracing sober or sober-curious lifestyles. Through his work, Gurland is helping shape a more inclusive vision for modern hospitality and social connection.
