Federico De Cesare Viola is a Rome-based food, wine, and travel journalist, professor, and lecturer. He is the Editor in Chief of Travel + Leisure Italia and Food & Wine Italia, the Italian editions of the renowned magazines published by People Inc.. He has also written for Il Sole 24 Ore, Vogue, Vanity Fair Italia, Condé Nast Traveller Italia, La Cucina Italiana, and other leading publications. A recipient of multiple journalism honors, including Identità Golose’s “Journalist of the Year” award, he also teaches hospitality, food and beverage, and journalism at 24ORE Business School, IULM, and the Scuola Politecnica di Design. His work has taken him around the world, from horseback riding in Patagonia to surfing in Bali. His passions include hotel bars, islands, and Nikkei cuisine.
